Nepalese Senior Cricket Team Loses Second Friendly match in Mumbai


Nepal faced another defeat in the last practice match off the mumbai tour on Sunday at Bhiwanadi Taluka Cricket Ground. Bhiwanadi Taluka Cricket Association defeated Nepal by 35 runs.
Winning the toss, Bhiwanadi chosed to bat first and put up a total of 161 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs. Parag Pagedar top scored for the home team with 28 ball 42 runs hitiing seven boundaries. Shekhar Darli scored 36 runs off 20 balls with four fours and a six while Nikhil Shetty scored 35 runs off 33 balls including four fours and a six. Ajay Kadam remained not out at 29 runs. Ajay hit three fours and a six.

For Nepal, Krishna Karki and Sanjam Regmi grabbed 2 wickets each while Paras Khadka got one.
In reply, Nepal were bundled in 126 runs for 10 wickets in 18.4 overs. Prithu Baskota top scored for Nepal with 32 runs off 16 deliveries with two fours and three sixes. Paras Khdaka played 22 balls for his 19 runs with two boundaries. Anil Mandal and Sharad Vesawkar scored 18 runs each. Mandal played 12 balls while Vesawkar played 20 balls. Mandal hit four fours and Vesawkar played one four and a six. Gyanendra Malla scored 16 runs off 15 balls with a four.
Sait Sikh grabbed 4 wickets for the winning team. Suresh Paradhi took 3 wickets while Darshan Bhoir grabbed two. Raju Boga got one.
This is the second loss of Nepal National Team, Nepal played 9 practice matches. The team is scheduled to be back home on Tuesday.
