Nepal League Champion Nepal Police Club will play Indian giants Mohun Bagan in a friendly on Saturday at the Dashrath Stadium at 7:00 PM under the Flood light today
The match is being organised by ANFA  in partnership with United Spirits Pvt Ltd, the authorized distributor of the brand in Nepal, in a bid to popularise the sport in the country. Talks are also underway between the two sides to include a friendly match—between a Nepali team and Mohun Bagan—on ANFA’s annual calendar, as well as to organise a tournament in the country’s western and far-western region in the near future.
The tickets for the box-office match have been priced at Rs 250 and Rs 500 and will be played under the floodlights at 6pm.

Mohun Bagan, the oldest football club in the whole of Asia, is one of the top teams in the I League, boasting top professionals in the likes of Brazilian Jose Ramirez Barreto, Nigerian Odafe Onyeka Okolie. India national team skipper Sunil Chettri and Surkumar Singh are the other influential players in the team.
To face this well-balanced team, Nepal Police Club, who just returned from Cambodia after poor performance in the AFC President’s Cup qualifiers, are borrowing five players from Three Star Club to reinforce their injury-plagued side. Coach Birat Krishna Shrestha is seeking the services of striker Santosh Sahukhala, forward Bharat Khawas, defenders Sandeep Rai and Birat Maharjan and goalkeeper Kiran Chemjong for the tie.  National team forward Bharat Khawas will be wearing the Nepal Police Club jersey for the lat time on Saturday when the Nepali league champion and British Gurkha Cup winner takes on Indian giant McDowells Mohan Bagan Club.
Khawas left NPC after he could not qualify for the post of assistant sub-inspector in Nepal Police in two weeks ago.
However, Khawas wants to make his last appearance in NPC jersey a memorable one. “Playing against Mohun Bagan, one of the famous clubs of the sub-continent is like a dream come true.
