The Pakistan Cricket Board
has invited proposals from a number of companies to set up a Twenty20 league in
the country. As many as eight companies, including Ten Sports, Nimbus and Geo
TV, have already made their proposals to the PCB, while another three are
expected to do so this week.
"The purpose of the sessions was to hear the ideas and concepts and each one came with in-depth studies," The Daily Times quoted a PCB spokesman, as saying.
The PCB has made it clear that they don't intend to organize a tournament similar to the Indian Premier League (IPL) or theBangladesh Premier League (BPL).
