Red Bull A division League: Analysis of Second Round of Red Bull A division League


The second round of on-going Red Bull A Division League football tournament concluded on Tuesday with a stunning win of NRT against Nepal Army at Dasrath Stadium.
New Road Team and McDowells RCT became the only teams who could make 2-in-2.
Yeti Himalayan Sherpa Club, LH MMC and Sankata Club have four points each from two matches. 
Stunning Win
The stunning win of CMG Club Sankata over defending league champions was the buzz of the week. The head injury to Jumanu Rai and Suraj BK proved costly as Cops went down to Sankata Club after 34 odd years! 


Bounce Back
Bigwigs; LH MMC and Three Star Club have bounced back. Manange toiled hard to beat Simrik Saraswati Youth Club 3-1 while Stars easily defeated Boudha FC 4-0. Manange had played stalemate against Sankata Club in their first match. Star had faced a stunning defeat at the hands of Simrik Sraswati in their opener. 

Fail To Move Up

Machhindra FC & Yeti Himalayan Sherpa Club failed to move up after playing draw in their respective matches.  White Lions drew with spirited Iceberg MYA while Mountaineers played a frustrating draw against neighbors Mahindra Bansbari FC

African Dominance

Most of the clubs have recruited African recruits for the team. The foreign recruits dominated Nepalese exploits this round. 
Samsung JYC fielded four Africans to beat APF in which John Duke scored a hat trick to register 3-1 win for Zoo Keepers. 

Total Goals
Just 18 goals were scored in the second round. 28 goals were scored in the first round. 
Conclusion
However there are more matches to go but it looks like the departmental teams had shown the poor performance as they can’t maintain their position even in top 8.so this year league champion can’t be defended by Cops.
