England Blind Defeat Nepal Blind Cricket team

Nepali Blind Team faced yet another loss, making the tow 5 in a row in the Blind T20 world Cup. Team Nepal faced a humiliating 10 wicket loss at hands of England this time, at Central Cricket Ground Bangalore. 
  The toss went Nepal’s way yet again; Batting first Nepal posted 151, 47 of that coming as extras losing 9 wickets , and England chased that in just 8.2 overs. Amar Oli top scored for Nepal with 20 runs of 16 balls..Oli was well supported in the crease by Sunil Subedi who made 18 runs of 25 balls.Santosh Sapkota made an unbeaten 16 runs for Nepal. England’s Luke Sugg grabbed 2 wickets giving away 22 runs. 

In reply it England openers got the team off to a flier getting 28 runs off the first over and 22 in the second to reach to fifty in just 2 overs, setting up the foundation for a massive win, Consolidating on the brilliant start two openers, Power and Matt Dean took only 8.2 overs to get to the target, both of them getting fifties in the course. Power scored 77 runs of just 31 runs while Dean got 63 of 25 balls. 

Team Nepal captain Jay Ram Giri after the match pointed out that the lack of pre tournament practice was one of the reasons for defeat.

Coach Ganga Prasad Poudel said that the running between the wickets was a major problem for the team. He added that if team could improve in the running between, it could still win matches. Nepal is to play two more matches in the tournament.
