Beckham to Play for Paris Saint-Germain

Aafter Ancelotti rekindles his love affair with the former England captain. David Beckham is to make a sensational switch to Paris Saint-Germain. Along with Roma's Daniele De Rossi and Napolo's Marek Hamsik, the midfielder was one of a number of high-profile names being considered by manager Carlo Ancelotti  unveiled at a press conference

Beckham had been a free agent having left LA Galaxy in November and was training with Arsenal in a bid to keep up his fitness.The midfielder had also been linked with a move to the French capital last year before committing to a final successful year in the MLS. 

Ancelotti, who managed Beckham when in charge at AC Milan, had also previously denied an interest in him before reconsidering that stance.

'I know that he's leaving the Los Angeles Galaxy, but we are not interested,' Ancelotti said only last month. Clubs in China, America and even England had all explored the possibility of signing the 37-year-old though Arsenal, despite him training with them, were not among them.
