ACC Twenty20 Cup 2013: Nepal to Face Afghanistan in Final

Afghanistan beat Hong Kong by seven wickets and in the second match, Nepal beat United Arab Emirates (UAE) by six wickets.All four sides have already booked their berths in the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier to be held later this year in UAE.
Earlier, Hong Kong was bowled out for 109 in 19 overs against Afghanistan. Hamza Hotak's spell of 3-14 and Samiullah Shenwari's 2-18 played starring roles in Afghanistan's bowling attack.For Hong Kong none of the batsmen got going. In its response, Afghanistan was well served by Najibullah Zadran's unbeaten 37 as it chased down the target in 17.1 overs to end at 112 for three.



In the other match UAE posted 133 for nine in its 20 overs after batting first. Swapnil Patil was the top-scorer for UAE with 37.For Nepal, Prithu Baskota (3-20), Basanta Regmi (2-24) and Shakti Gauchan (2-21) shared the wickets around.

In its response, Nepal was served by Pradeep Airee's 58 off 57 balls with five boundaries and two sixes.Nepal ended at 134 for four in 19.1 overs.For UAE, Ahmed Raza 2-30 and Fayyaz Ahmed (2-30) picked wickets. The final between Nepal and Afghanistan will be played on Wednesday.
