Dear readers as in the previous edition of
the SAFF Championship two teams India and Afghanistan are again playing against
each-other to be crowned as the South Asian Champion of the Football.
India has entered the final for seven times while this is Afghanistan second
chance playing in Final. Afghanistan had beat Nepal in the semifinal as it did
in previous edition and India had beat Maldives in semifinal as it did in
previous edition. Afghanistan are ranked above India in the present FIFA
Ranking and had many foreign based player who play club football in Europe and
few of them also played club football in India.
India will be happy as their inspiring captain
sunil chhetri will be back in squad after missing semifinal due to two yellow
cards in two consecutive matches. There will not be huge number of crowd in
