Governor’s Gold Cup Football Tournament 2013: Nepal U-16 to play in Sikkim

Nepal Under 16 Team to play Sikkim Governor’s Gold Cup Tournament this Year. Nepal U-16 Team had already qualified for the AFC U-16 Championship to be held in 2014.
"We are bringing three teams from Nepal. LH MMC, Three Star Club & Nepal U-16. We heard Nepal U-16 is a very good side and they need exposure as well. When we received a proposal from Nepal, we agreed to include them"

"It is almost confirmed that Nepal U-16 is taking part in the Governors Gold Cup", Sikkim FA secy Menla Ethenpa told the one of the Leading Sports portal of Nepal.

Governors Gold Cup football tournament is starting from November 7 at Paljore Stadium, Gangtok.When contacted, Nepal U-16 coach Bal Gopal Maharjan didn't want to elaborate more but said they would be interested to play in Governors Gold Cup.

ANFA is yet to reveal the confirmation about going to Gangtok. Nepal U-16 was qualified for the final round of AFC U-16 Championship in the second week of September in Kathmandu. ANFA is planning for international exposures for the junior colts. Nepal U-16 will play Safal Pokhara Cup before going to Gangtok.
