Nepal ascened In FIFA ranking to top south asian region!!!!

Nepal has ascended to 136 positions from 148 to stay atop among South Asian countries for the month of July in FIFA World Ranking

.

FIFA published the ranking on Wednesday that show Nepal collecting 184 points to jump to 136th position.

Nepal has leapfrogged the football mad countries like, Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia.

Nepal qualified for the AFC Challenge Cup final round in April and went through second round of FIFA World Cup qualifiers for the first time in its history past month.

However, Nepal suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of Jordan 9-0 on July 23 in Amman.

Nepal also leapfrogged the south Asian lion India in the FIFA Ranking.

Nepal - 136

Bangladesh - 147

India 153 - lost  6 position

Maldives - 160 - lost 9 position

Pakistan - 171 - lost 2 position

Sri Lanka - 176 - lost 5 position

Afghanistan - 179 - Lost 13 position
