Cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan is dad of Baby girl

Sri Lanka’s legendary cricketer Murali’s wife Madimalar had given birth to their second child yesterday. The birth of the child had taken place at a hospital in Chennai that belonged to their family. This time the child was a baby ‘girl’. Murali’s first was a son who is now 5 years old.
Murali married Madimalar in the year 2005 through a marriage proposal. Her family owns a chain of hospitals in the name ‘MALAR’ in South India.

Muralidharan is involved in his family business enterprise in Kandy. At the time of the marriage Madimalar had not had any interest in cricket. She possesses a degree in Business Management and is involved in their family hospitals administrative functions. However after her marriage she had rendered to Murali her highest cooperation to his cricketing career.
It is reported that  Sri Lankan   President had sent Murali a message of good wishes.
