AFC Challenge Cup 2012 : Ali Ashfaq Joins Maldives National Team After Recoveing From Knee Injury


One of the prolific strikers in South Asia, Ali Ashfaq has joined the Maldives National Football team on Tuesday after recovering from knee injury. 
Ashfaq was away from football for two weeks to treat his injured knee.

It is learned that he will play the friendly match for Maldives scheduled on Saturday.

The Red Snappers are currently touring Thailand for the preparation of AFC Challenge Cup Football Tournament.  Maldives lost against Thailand in its first match of the Thailand tour where Maldives international striker didn’t play for his team.
