The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has decreased load-shedding to 80 hours from 86 hours a week and that will be effective from February 13, 2012 (Falgun 01, 2068). As per the new schedule, Nepalese people will have to live in darkness for 10, 11 and 13 hours for 2 days each and 12 hours for a day in a week. According to NEA authority Decrease in power cut is due to early repairing of Mid Marshyangdi and rain.
