AFC Challenge Cup 2012: Our target is to beat the Maldives and Palestine - Roberts Graham

Nepal Coach Graham Roberts has said that their target is to defeat Maldives and Palestine in their Group stage encounters in the AFC Challenge Cup 2012.

"Our target is to beat the Maldives and Palestine during the group stage and make it through to the semifinals," Roberts shared.
Speaking to “Republica” Robert Graham said that his team is having practices twice a day and they are more focusing to improve the fitness of the players.

Maldives ended with a 1 – 1 draw against Nepal in the group stage of SAFF Championship 2011 which was held on last December and Graham weighed AFC Challenge Cup  to be more tougher than the SAFF Regional tournament.

"It´s tougher than the SAFF Championship, so we are preparing accordingly. We are training twice a day and now we are focusing more on fitness training." Roberts said.
Nepal is drawn against Maldives, Turkmenistan and Palestine in the AFC Challenge Cup 2012 Group-A, While DPR Korea, India, Tajikistan and the Philippines are drawn in the other group of the Tournament which is scheduled to kick-off in Nepal on March 8th, 2012.
