FIFA World Ranking: Nepal Slips One Step Down To 153 On The Eve Of AFC Challenge Cup

Nepal has stepped down to 153 in the FIFA world Ranking for the month of March. FIFA released the ranking on thursday in which Nepal collected mere 144 points to position themselves at 153rd.



The ranking of South Asian Countries:

India: 158th
Bangladesh: 164
Maldives: 174
Afghanistan: 178
Pakistan: 181
Sri Lanka: 186
Bhutan: 201

Teams' Ranking Who are participating in AFC Challenge Cup: 

India are placed in group B in the Challenge Cup wherein they are the lowest ranked nation after DPR Korea (111), Tajikistan (145) and Philippines (156).

In group A, hosts Nepal are ranked highest at 153 followed by Palestine (160), Turkmenistan (166) and Maldives (174).

Australia are the highest ranked Asian nation at the 20th spot followed by South Korea at 30. Asian Cup winners Japan are placed in the 33rd position.
