AFC Challenge cup 2014 Qualifier draw released: Nepal placed with Palestine Bangladesh and NMI in Group D

The way for the AFC Challenge cup 2014 for the second Tier nations like Nepal is the AFC Challenge cup qualifier.The Final match will be played in Maldives so Maldives have been automatically qualified. Other 20 countries are grouped in five Group. Nepal have been placed with Palestine, Bangladesh and New entry Northern Mariana Islands in Group D.Nepal has been placed in Relatively easy Group as Northen Mariana Island is new team and Bangladesh is not stronger than Nepal. The draw was held this afternoon at AFC HQ, Kualal Lumpur where Nepal was drawn in an average group.

Here are the groups: 

Group A: Myanmar, India, Chinese Taipei, Guan
Group B: Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Pakistan & Macau
Group C: Laos, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Mongolia
Group D: Nepal, Palestine, Bangladesh & Northern Mariana Island
Group E: Philippines, Turkmenistan, Cambodia & Brunei

** Maldives don't need to play qualifiers as it is hosting the tournament. 

AFC will shortly announce the venue for respective grouping.
