Afghanistan
coach Yusef Kargar has announced their preliminary squad for the upcoming AFC
Challenge Cup 2014. 35 players have been called up, 14 domestic and 21 abroad
players for the upcoming camp in Dubai. Players
from all corners of Afghanistan, Denmark, USA, Norway, Iran, Germany,
Australia, Bahrain and Jordan have been invited.

Currently, the domestic players are going
through their paces with a 10 day training camp in Kabul. Following this camp,
all players are called to attend a 10 day grueling training camp in
Dubai to decide the final 23 man squad.
Afghanistan
is placed with Laos , Srilanka and Mangolia In Group C of AFC Challenge Cup
Qualifier.
