Nepal Tour of Kuwait: Nepal Thrashes Kuwait’s Al Arabi SC 8-2

The Nepal National team will have real test when they play against Kuwait most successful team Al-Arabi SC in a friendly match at Arabic Club, Mansouriya today.
  The sixteen times Kuwait Premier League champions remain the most successful team in terms of first flight titles. Al-Arabi SC was the first team from Kuwait to participate in AFC cup but they failed to qualify last season ending up third in the league.
The Kuwait Premier League side consists of a familiar face to Nepal National team. Ahmad Hayel , Jordanian striker scored two goals against Nepal in Jordan’s 9-0 win back in 23 July 2011 at the world cup qualifiers.

Nepal will get ample opportunity to learn when they play the Kuwait side which is guided by former Portugal U21 national team coach Jose Romao and playing aside former Argentina U-20 midfielder Damián Lizio would certainly help Nepal to gather some confidence and experience.
Mount Everest Sporting club, Kathmandu-Kuwait has asked the Nepalese fans to visit the game and stand together to support Nepal in the friendly match. Nepal National team defeats Kuwait’s Al Arabi SC 8-2 in their second friendly match played in Kuwait.Nepal National team fielded players who were not featured in Nepal 2-0 win over Kuwait U20 team. Rohit Chand also played for the team while Bijay Gurung captained the winning team.

Nepal got early lead as Bimal Gharti Magar scored early in seventh minute of the game. The lead was doubled after Bijay Gurung scored in 20th minute of the game while Santosh Shahukhala scored in 41st minute to make the half time score 3-0.

Three Star club midfielder Bikram Lama found early in the second half as he scored four minutes from kick off to make the score 4-0. Al Arabi got their first goal in the form of own goal as Ananta Tamang scored on his own net in an attempt to save the goal.

Nirajan Khadka got another one for Nepal in 56th minute as he scored in Tek Bahadur Budathoki’s pass. Al Arabi got their second goal after Fahad Al Hashash scored on a penalty shot.

Bimal Gharti Magar scored other goal for Nepal before Santosh Shahukhala scored another in his assist. Bimal Ghati completed his hat trick before the match completed 8-2 in Nepal’s way.
