A Division Super League: Police Defeats Three Star in Opening Super League Match

Nepal Police club started the league in unexpectedly as they had poor start, while good comeback in the end and booked their ticket in Super 8 ahead of Saraswati who were alike in points but the head to head rule implemented this season went Police’s way.  Second half started with NPC’s lead while Three Star were not able to dispay the game they needed for comeback. Kiran Chemjong slipped the ball on NPC corner which could have been second NPC goal but TSC defenders were able to compensate Chemjong’s error.

TSC had to experience another blow as lack of coordination between Sandip Rai and goalkeeper Chemjong resulted an advantage to Jumanu Rai who placed the ball for the goal.
Bishnu Gurung could add hopes to the trailing team as he scored four minutes later which was not just enough for Lalitpur based club to steal the points back from the cops.
