Bahrain U-23 coach Anthony Hudson remains focused ahead of Nepal friendly match scheduled on Wednesday 9:30 local time at Al Ahly Stadium in Manama.
Hudson, who is preparing his team for forthcoming Gulf Cup, said that he was happy with the team's performance for Gulf Cup. Bahrain U-23 are just back from turkey where they played two friendly matches against turkish Super league sides.
"I'm happy with where we are but these coming days are crucial for us to affect certain areas and tidy things up," Coach Hudson told the GDN."We are just focusing on ourselves and making sure we are ready, fit, organised and as strong as possible."
"We now prepare for our Nepal game and will try to play one more friendly game for our second team on August 10," Coach Hudson said."We've got some pre-existing injuries to key players and we hope and will try to have these available for us by the time we start [the tournament]."
The Bahrainis have been drawn alongside the UAE and Kuwait in group 'A' for the preliminary round of the Olympic Teams Gulf Cup. Group 'B' features Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman.
