AFC U-16 Qualifier Group C: Nepal play Stalemate against Stronger Iraq

Nepal U-16 National Team played 2-2 draw against  Iraq U-16 National Team to put feet closer to the final round of AFC U-16 Group C Qualifiers at Dashrath Stadium.Nepal, trailing by two goals, came back strongly in the second half with a goal each from skipper Bimal Gharti Magar and in-form striker Anjan Bista. In the First Few minutes of First half Nepal looks dominating but after trailing by the goal Nepal lost their confidence but came back strongly in the second Half.

Coach Maharjan, who looked happy after  the Match said, "We are brave Gorkhali. We never give up". "Boys looked totally down in the dressing room in the half time. I told them we are brave Gorkhali. We never give up. You all need to fight fot the country and they did the same. They fought bravely". "I am proud of my boys. This is a history in Nepal. Coming back from two goals down and levelling the score against World Cup bound team is simply amazing". "Now we are going for another win, "Coach Maharjan added, "We shouldn't get carried away and must keep focus on target". 

Nepal will now take on Turkmenistan in their last group match on September 29. 

In the another Match played today Bahrain Outclassed Turkmenistan by 3-1.
