Sikkim Governer’s Gold Cup 2013: Nepal U-16 defeats Eastern Railway SC

Nepal U16 team defeats Eastern Railway in Sikkim Gold cup as they set date with George Telegraph SC in next round.The only goal from Kiran Sunar in late 30′s of first half confirmed youth’s victory in Sikkim Governor’s gold cup against Indian side Eastern Railway Sc. The first half that remained comparatively brighter from the winning side got the goal.

Eastern Railway displayed better in the second half, however they failed to equalize in later half missing one great chance in 80th minute of the game.The U16 side will face Calcutta’s George Telegraph SC in pre quarter finals of the tournament on 12th November three days later. Other Two Clubs from Nepal are participating in the Championship and they are Manang Marshyangdi Club and Three Star Club.
