The tournament will cost 100 rupees for open parapet and 300 for closed parapet. The total estimated budget for the tournament is Nrs 70 Lakhs out of which SAFF has covered 50,000$ which is approximately 47 lakhs according to today exchange rate. ANFA has planned to cover remaining expenses from tickets.
This is second edition of U-16 SAFF championship. ANFA president and AFC vice president Ganesh Thapa said that the reason behind to organize this U-16 championship is to allow exposure to the players before the AFC tournaments kicks off. 7 players have been scouted for different districts while remaining are ANFA academy players.
