AFC U14 Championship Group C Qualifier: Tajikistan qualify for the Championship

Tajikistan qualify as the group winners of Group C as second half decider from Muhammadiev Asliddin did the work for the winning team. Tajikistan opened their account early in the game as they were awarded with penalty kick in second minute of the match. Fuzaylov Ziyovuddin scored the penalty in second attempt as Indian match referee Vairamuthu Parasuraman suggested to retake the kick.Tajikistan stopped couple of Afghanistan attacks in 24th minute of the match as keeper Azizov Daler’s diving effort awarded corner kick to Afghanistan who were near to the goal, had Huvaydo not saved the ball on goal line, Tajikistan would have lost their lead.

      The comeback was possible before the end of first half as Omid Haidar made the comeback just before the first half whistle.Second half started with Tajikistan full conscious about their position. Tajikistan needed the win as draw would favor Afghanistan.Tajikistan continued their attack as their 50th minute attack was denied by crossbar but two minutes later Tajikistan took the lead as Muhammadiev Asliddin made the final impression in the game.Tajikistan follow Group A winners Iraq and Group C winners Saudi Arabia in AFC U-14 Championship 2014 while remaining group winners are yet to be decided.Bhutan are hammered by both their previous opponents as they started their qualifier matches with a devastating 15-0 loss to Tajikistan while Afghanistan hammered them 14 goals.With youngest team in the group and physically shaky players, Bhutan look to stop host Nepal in small margin, however Nepal look to end up the carnival with style.Nepal lost its first match against Afghanistan 2-1 after not being able to keep the first half lead while second must win match was ended up as a draw which shattered the hopes.

AFC U-14 Championship Qualifier:Stalemate against Tajikistan ends Nepal’s Qualifying Hope

The AFC U-14 Championship qualifier between Nepal and Tajikistan as Tajikistan's  lead was equalized by Nepal. 
Defender Laxman Pariyar was found culprit to handle the ball in his own box which awarded penalty to Tajikistan U-14 team. Shahrom’s penalty hit the post after fine touch from Nepalese goalkeeper Sojit but the rebound ball landed on Abdulloev Khurshed who placed the ball in empty net in 14th minute. 

Kshitiz Raz was able to mark his perfection with a long range shot which gifted Nepal an equalizer which made the team inseparable at the end of first half. With a must win prospective, Nepal entered the second half in attacking mentality but lacked the final impressions despite good combination in the midfields.Nepal are third in the group behind Afghanistan and Tajikistan which ends up Nepal’s hope to qualify for the final tournament which will be played in 2014.

AFC U-14 Championship Qualifiers: Afghanistan upset Nepal

Nepal find themselves unlucky right on start of the match as Dorje’s second minute free kick got his teammates’ head and was denied by the top post. Minute later of Nepal’s attack, Afghani Captain Abdul Naser Amini replied Nepal with simialr situation as his cool placement found the far post. 

Nepal looked actively involved in attack but they never succeed until Skipper Manish Bahadur added the lead for the host team. Manish got a reboud after Nepal’s first attack hit the post and Manish Bahadur Karki got the rebound ball and placed it on target close from goal line without any trouble. Afghanistan replied back early in the second half. Unmarked Omid Haidar Saneh scored on beautiful cross from Sher Ahmad Hamedi’s cross who did great work in left flank.

The game did not see any serious attack but Afghanistan utilized second chance as Mohammad Zaki Turkmani headed on empty post after poor defensive display from Nepalese defenders. 
Dorje’s long shot was hardly punched away by Afghanistan goalkeeper Haidary for Nepal’c corner. The corner was almost turned into Nepalese equilizer but substitue Aashish’s header went inches away from the target. 

Similarly in the first match, Bhutan were hammered 15 goals by Tajikistan. Afghanistan will take on Bhutan and Nepal faces Tajikistan on April 4 Stay with us for most exciting update of the match.

AFC U-14 Championship qualifier Group C: Nepal Ready to Host


ANFA is all set to host AFC u-14 Championship as Nepal are grouped with Tajikistan, Bhutan and Afghanistan in group C. ANFA is ready to host AFC U-14 Championship 2014 qualifiers as AFC starts the youth tournament for the first time. Nepal hosts Group C matches on April 2,4 and 6 and two games are scheduled every day. The first match of the day kicks off in 1:00 PM while second match will start from 3:30 pm.

The match will be 60 minutes game and the Dashrath Rangashala will be optimized to 90 by 60 yards for the qualifying matches.
The tickets of the match will be available from 11:00 am onward in the match days while prices are 100 NRS and 300 NRS for open and closed parapets respectively.
All the food and lodging expenses for the players and match officials are covered by The-AFC.
The match referees are already in Nepal organizing referee training course while the players from the participating country had already arrived Nepal .

AFC U-14 Championship Qualifier Group C: Nepal announce Final Squad


Nepal will be hosting AFC U-14′s group C qualifiers matches from Chaitra 20th to 24th(April 2 to April 6 2013) in Dashrath Stadium Kathmandu Nepal. Bhutan, Tajikistan, Nepal and Afghanistan will be participating in the qualifiers. The 21 players who will be representing Nepal in the tournament are listed below. Hope after the unsuccessful AFC Challenge cup Qualifiers Under-14 boys will bring some joy for Nepali football Fans .Here is the list of the 21 players.
