SAFF Championship 2013 Warm up:Bangladesh National Football Team to tour Thailand

Thailand Football Association had

agreed to Host Bangladesh National Team for two friendlies.Bangladesh national football team is now preparing for the upcoming SAFF Championship 2013 scheduled to begin from September 1 in Nepal. According to Daily Star, the Bangladesh contingent will leave for Bangkok on July 28 and return home on August 5 after a nine-day tour.

“The dates of the friendlies have not been finalised but both matches will take place at the Rajamongola National Stadium,” said Bangladesh Football Federation general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag yesterday.

Germany-based Reasat Khaton will be touring with the national squad in Thailand but the 23-year old midfielder has no chance to play in the matches as he does not have a Bangladeshi passport.

Shohag informed that the federation has started the process of obtaining a Bangladeshi passport for Reasat following the instructions from Dutch coach Lodewijk De Kruif. Stay with yours own Sports Portal www.anantasports.com for the most exciting update of SAFF Championship 2013.

SAFF Championship 2013 Warm Up: Bangladesh Confirms Thailand Trip

 As the prepartion for the SAFF Championship is going on Speed one of the team Bangladesh had announced Thaland Tour Before the Tournament.Wise enough, they have lined up at least four friendly matches ahead of SAFF Championship which is slated for September 1-11 in Kathmandu, Nepal. 

 BFF decided that the team would go to Thailand On July 22 to play two friendly matches. BFF however hasn't revealed which two teams they are.
 After returning from Thailand, Bangladesh will host Pakistan in Dhaka for two match friendly series.
 Pakistan National Football team will visit Bangladesh from 10 to 17th August 2013 for two practice matches against Bangladesh National Football Team.
 Meanwhile, Bangladesh U-16 team will arrive Kathmandu on July 17 to compete in 2nd SAFF U-16 Championship.

SAFF Championship Warm Up: Maldives to Play against Thailand National Team

Maldives FA said that the team would leave for Thailand On August 16 to set up a camp for forthcoming SAFF Championship. The FA mentioned that the official training would start from August 10.

"The national team will play a friendly against a Dhiraagu Dhivehi League Foreign Players XI team on August 15 and will then immediately depart to Thailand on August 16. The national team will look to play three matches in Bangkok, including a match against the Thailand national team and two local league clubs", Football Association of Maldives (FAM)'s Director of National Teams, Ali Suzain was quoted as saying by Madives FA Facebook page.
The team will then return to the Maldives and depart to Nepal on August 28 for the SAFF Championship scheduled to kick-off on September 1 in Kathmandu.
