Nepal Government announces the cash Prize of Rs 3 lakhs each to Nepal Cricket Team

Nepalese Cricket players who not only secure the position in division three But also won the title of division IV in great manner got the most required reward from the Government of Nepal.A Cabinet meeting on Thursday decided to reward all the players and coach who won the recently concluded ICC World Cricket League Division 4 Tournament in Malaysia with the cash incentives of Rs. 3 Lakhs each.

The team led by skipper Paras Khadka and Coach Pubudu Dassanayake will be awarded within a couple of days organizing a function, said the source. The other players in the team were Gyanendra Malla, Sharad Vesawkar, Amrit Bhattarai, Shakti Gauchan, Basanta Regmi, Sanjam Regmi, Rahul Kumar Vishwakarma, Pradeep Airee, Anil Kumar Mandal, Prithu Baskota, Chandra Saud, Binod Das and Subash Khakurel.

Nepal had defeated USA by 8 wickets in the finals to lift the trophy. The trophy is the greatest achievement so far by Nepali Cricket Team in foreign soil. Nepal previously had won the ICC World Cricket League Division 5 tournament in home.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Cricket Association of Nepal had announced to award the players with Rs. 30,000 each. Though I personally feel that The ICC world T20 qualifier was another best achievement where Nepal secured seventh position among all the test playing Nation but this too was the best game Nepalese Senior team had given so far

Nepal won against USA to be the winner of ICC world Cricket league Division III

May be this is the most sucessful  game by the Nepal in senior Nepal as nepalese team enters the division three not only as a winner but also as undefeatable team. In this Division Nepal was sucessful to beat the former world cup team USA and one of the european giant Denamrk . Srilankan coach Roy dias set up the base of the Nepalese cricket team and now his student another srilankan coach pubuda dashanayeke was able toguide  the team through to division three. Nepal will face  Uganda, Italy, Bermuda, Oman and USA  in division three and if Nepal will secure first two position in the division three Nepal will qualify to play ICC world cup qualifying . Top two team from this qualification will take part in the 2015 world cup that will held in Australia.

 In the final of ICC world Cup division IV played today at malaysia Nepal defeated USA by 8 wicket with 132 balls remaining. Once again Pick of the match basnat regmi played  excellen to take 5 wicket for 21 runs and he was well supported by gauchan(2), Khadka(1) ,Sanjam(1) and Binod (1).  USA only manage to score 145 runs in 48.1 over while  Nepal managed to get the target just in 28.0 Over. Vice captain gyanendra Malla made half century(66) in just 65 balls while Opener Subash made 40 of 66 balls. Unlike other Tournaments this Nepali players batted well and bowling has already been strenght of Nepal. Nepalese player made two centuries in the tournament one by anil mandal against Denmark and Other by Subhash Against USA.

The two teams now go to Bermuda early next year for Division Three. It's an immediate return to the division for the USA, whilst Nepal will be playing at that level for the first time. The top two from that tournament will reach the World Cup Qualifier in New Zealand in 2014.

Nepal will now enter into the Division 3 of ICC world cricket League . Nepal after securing  four consecutive win against Singapore, Tanzania, malaysia and USA in division 4 that is being held in malaysia has confirmed its place as top teams. Under the supervision of coach pubuda Dashanayake and  leadership of captain parash khadka Nepal had done well in all three fields namely bowling fielding and batting. Nepal still have to face other team of division four in september  9  2012 and nepal will love to end the league with win against denmark. Other teams which have chance  to enter in the division 3 are Singapore, Denmark and USA. So  Nepal will play freely and its now turn to fell pressure for rest three teams.

      Two teams that will relegate to division 5 have been already confirmed and the host and African team had bad tournaments and will play for fourth and fifth place though they still have one ggame to play in league round against each other. Malaysia was appointed as host of Pepsi ICC World Cricket League Division 4 on the the ICC Development Committee met in Bangkok, Thailand on 15 and 16 May

Nepal will also play ICC world cricket league division 4 along with other participants such as Denmark, Malaysia, Singapore, USA and Tanzania.

The ICC Development Committee met in Bangkok, Thailand on 15 and 16 May also made several decisions to develop the cricket. They made number of recommendations to the ICC Chief Executives' Committee meeting in June, including the format for the ICC Women's World Cup 2013, the ICC World T20 Qualifier 2013 and the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2014;
The meeting also decide Bermuda, subject to agreeing to budget proposals, as hosts of Pepsi ICC World Cricket League Division 3. Both events form part of ICC's qualification structure into the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.
 The meeting also received updates on progress with implementation of the ICC Females in World Cricket Strategy and the ICC High Performance Programme.
