AFC U-19 Championship Group A Qualifier: ANFA Bids farewell to U-19 Team

ANFA bids Farewell to U-19 football team who departed yesterday evening to take part in the AFC U-19 qualifiers. ANFA bade farewell to National U-19 football team who left yesterday to participate in the AFC U-19 qualifiers starting from October 4 at Qatar. Nepal National U-19 team will take on strong side Turkmenistan in their first match of the fixture on 4th October.

AFC U-19 Championship Qualifier Group A: Nepal U-19 squad announced

Nepal U-19 National Team coaches Raju Kaji Shakya and Kishor KC have finalized the final squad for the up-coming AFC U-19 Qualifiers 2013 scheduled on October 4-12. A 18-member Nepal U-19 National Team squad is as follows:


Goalkeepers: Alan Neupane, Birendra Chand, Bhola

Defenders: Kalu Thapa, Bibek, Niraj Basnet, Bibek Pratap Pant, Aditya Chaudhary, Sanjay Rajbahak, Biswas

Midfielders: Sulav Maskey, Heman Gurung, Dhiraj, Bhusan Subba, Anil Gurung

Forwards: Suman Lama, Ashim Jung Karki, Ram Thapa

 Gorkhali will open its campaign against Turkmenistan on October 4. Nepal have been clubbed with hosts Qatar, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and India in Group A. Nepal U-19 National Team is leaving for Qatar tomorrow to participate in the up-coming AFC U-19 Qualiifers 2013.

AFC U-19 Championship Qualifier Group A: India announces U-19 Squad

The 23-member Indian U-19 National Squad for the AFC U-19 Championship (Qualifiers) to be held in Doha, Qatar from October 4, 2013 has been announced. The Squad, which drew 1-1 with Goa Pro League outfit SESA Goa in the latest Friendly match, will be reaching Doha on Sunday (September 29, 2013). 

  India have been Grouped with hosts Qatar, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Nepal in Group A. The U-19 Boys, formed out of Goa’s Elite Academy, will be playing the hosts in their opener on October 4, 2013 followed by dates with Nepal (October 6), Uzbekistan (October 10), and Turkmenistan (October 12) respectively. The 23-member Squad is as follows:
