AFC Challenge Cup 2012:ANFA Announces Preliminary Squad For AFC Challenge Cup Football Tournament

All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has announced the preliminary squad for upcoming AFC Challenge Cup Football Tournament to be held on Kathmandu from March 8.

A-36 member team was chosen by the coaching staffs led by head coach, Graham Roberts.

The National team is started training from Monday in Jawalakhel Khel maidan and Dasrath stadium.

Tek Bahadur, Nawayug Shrestha and Tanka Basnet, all Army men, are called in the National team squad for the first time. Kunjan Gurung and Bishal Rai A are also the newbie in the team.

The selected players are: 

GK: Kiran Chemzong (MTSC), Bikash Malla( Nepal Army Club), Ritesh Thapa(NPC), Bishal Shrestha (LH MMC), Raju Yogi (NRT)

DF: Sagar Thapa (YHSC), Sandip Rai (LH MMC), Rohit Chand (HAL India), Robin Shrestha (NPC), Biraj Maharjan (MTSC), Sabindra Shrestha (LH MMC), Bikash Singh Chhetri (MTSC), Dipak Bhushal (LH MMC), Jitendra Karki (NRT)

MF: Raju Tamang(Nepal Army Club), Nirajan Khadka(LH MMC) , Nirajan Malla( YHSC), Bhola Silwal (NPC), Bijaya Gurung (LH MMC), Sujal Shrestha(LH MMC), Tanka Basnet( Nepal Army Club), Parbat Pandey( NPC), Jagjeet Shrestha(YHSC), Anil Ojha(MTSC), Tek Bahadur Budhathoki (Nepal Army Club)
