Nepal senior Cricket Team beat ELF Dilip Venserkar Academy


 Nepal National Team defeated ELF Dilip Venserkar Academy by three wickets in a T20 match on Friday.
With the win, Nepal has been successful to win all the six  practice matches played so far.
Winning the toss, ELF Dilip Venserkar Academy elected to bat first and put up a total of 154 runs for the loss of six wickets.
Amrit Bhattarai and Basanta Regmi grabbed two wickets each while Krishna Karki and Mahaboob Alam shared a wicket each. Nikhil Khare top scored 43 runs and Sarfaraz Khan added 40 runs for the home team.

The wickets from Nepal falled at regular intervals. But with an outstanding inning from Mehboob Alam, Nepal reached the target in 20 overs in loss of seven wickets. Alam remained unbeaten on 58 runs off 27 balls including five sixes and three fours. Gyanendra Malla scored 21 runs off 23 balls. Pradeep Airee scored 17 runs off 15 balls while Shakti Gauchan remained not out at 14 runs. Sharad Vesawkar made 13 runs.
Vishal Ganachari and Mayur Sanap grabbed 2 wickets each  for ELF while Ravi Sindhe and Siddharth Ghule shared a wicket each.
Nepal National Team is in Mumbai Tour for practice ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup Qualifiers to be held in UAE in March.
Nepal will play Thana District  in a  match on Sunday which will be the last match off the Mumbai tour.
