Palestine won the friendly match against European side,
Ajerbaijan on Wednesday but it has suffered a blow as its defensive midfielder,
Maaly Kaware' was injured in the match.
According to the medical
staffs in the team, Kaware' can't recover on time and thus will be unavailable
for the squad for the AFC Challenge Cup.
Meanwhile, Raed Fares was also injured in the match against Azerbaijan but
the injury doesn't look that serious. According to the information, Raed Fares
will have to rest for four days.
Palestine are in group A with Nepal, Maldives
and Turkmenistan.
Palestine will take on Nepal in the opening match at
Dasrath Stadium on 8th of March.
